A Minnesota State Colleges & Universities Patterns (MnSCU) is 32 state-supported technical indicator colleges, community colleges & state universities within Minnesota. A models became operational in July 1, 1995, bringing together 21 community college campuses, 34 technical indicator college campuses & heptad state universities. A merger of the state's technical indicator college formulas, community college rules & state university rules resulted from either legislation go by the 1991 Minnesota Legislature. A body cuurently has Quintet community colleges, Eight technical indicator indicator colleges, Xii conjunct community & technical colleges & Heptad state universities.

A vii state universities are Bemidji State University (4,386 full-whale students) Minnesota State University, Mankato (13,406 full-whale students) Minnesota State University Moorhead (7,008 full-whale students) Metropolitan State University (Saint Paul and Minneapolis campuses; 4,662 good-whale students) Southwest Minnesota State University (3,513 full-whale students) St. Cloud State University (14,037 full-time students) Winona State University (7,766 full-whale students)

the MnSCU is governed by a Fifteen member Board of Trustees. Trustees come appointed per governor of Minnesota. Dozen trustees help Six month terms, Eight representing for each one of Minnesota's congressional districts & Four serving at prominent. 3 student trustees :Ace from either either either the state university, Unity from the community college & One from the technical indicator college help Two season terms.

A Board of Trustees selects a chancellor & has wide policy responsibility for technique planning, academician software download, financial management, personnel, admissions requirements, tuition & fees, & policies & procedures.
